BattG

On December 1, 2009, the Battery Act (Batteriegesetz BattG) became effective in Germany. It implements the specifications of the European directive 2006/66/EG in the German legislation. New obligations arise from the law. All manufacturers have to register all battery brands they sell within Germany with the German Environment Agency. Our registration number for Germany is 21008066.
In accordance with section 15 (3) of the Battery Act, the recycling rates for waste industrial batteries in accordance with the calculation method in section 2 (19) of the Battery Act reached 100% in the previous calendar year. In 2023, this amounted to 215.3 tons of lead batteries, which we sent for recycling.
