Start of the year 2022
Which goals have we already achieved, where do we currently stand and in which direction do we want to develop strategically in the coming years? Managing Director Manuel Diepolder addressed these questions at the internal start of the year on February 28, 2022 for all employees of Allgäu Batterie and ALLithium.
The internal event has been the strategic starting signal for the new year since 2017 and was held online this time due to the pandemic situation. In addition to an overview of the business development over the past year, the presentation of the company’s strategic goals forms the core element of the event: On the one hand, the status quo of the strategic goals from 2021 was discussed. In addition, the management presented the qualitative and quantitative targets for the next three years to all employees. The targets relate to all areas of the company, such as the organization itself, human resources, sustainability, IT and the product and service segments. This procedure not only enables maximum transparency for all employees with regard to the strategic orientation of the company and the respective departments. At the same time, a common understanding about the overarching goals is promoted which will be relevant in the medium term in addition to the day-to-day operations of each individual. Therefore, the strategic goals also hang in the form of a screen for everyone to see in the common room.
In addition, the start of the year was used to present further innovations on various internal topics, e.g. news about the participation in the Great Place To Work® competition 2022, the new concept of workplace health promotion or changes in relation to the semi-annual appraisal interviews with managers.
For Managing Director Manuel Diepolder, the joint start to the year is a central management tool: “Only when the employees know where the train is going they feel like traveling together”.
